Abstract(in English) | The concept of "trapped rainbow" storage of light recently proposed by Tsakmakidis et.al. has attracted increasing attenuation for physically realizing slow light. In this work we study a method for spatially confining THz waves of different frequencies at different positions by exciting the spoof surface plasmon-polariton (SPP) on metal grating structures. With FDTD simulations we confirm the rainbow trapping of THz waves on linearly graded grating structures excited by a tapered slit. |
