Abstract(in English) Multiple small cell based radio access network architecture with small base stations and/or remote antennas is very attractive for future broadband and high user experience mobile services on LTE networks. To connect small cells to core networks efficiently, optical access networks designed for radio access network is needed In this article, we summarize technologies for radio access network of LTE and optical access networks, and then describe the requirements for optical access networks.
