Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we design microstnp bandpass filters (BPFs) with multiple transmission zeros by combining compact lowpass filter (LPF) and highpass filter (HPF) having transmission zeros in their stopbands. The configuration, equivalent circuit, and design formulas of the LPF and HPF are described first. Then based on these formulas, LPFs and HPFs are designed and cascaded to form BPFs. Through the design of BPFs with a midband frequency of 2GHz but different fractional bandwidths, it is proved efficient to design BPFs by combining LPFs and HPFs. Problems remained with this design method is also described briefly.
