Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we study receiver-driven congestion control for content-oriented services. In content-oriented services, users have no interest in where the content comes and they are just interested in which content is obtained. The current services, e g P2P, enable more sophisticated style of content downloaded from multiple sources In this paper, we propose a new receiver-driven congestion control suitable for content acquisition from multiple sources. In our proposed congestion control, flows sharing the same bottleneck link are controlled in integrated fashion so that they obtain as much throughput as single TCP. Our preliminary simulation results show that our proposed congestion control can share a bottleneck link fairly with single TCP with obtaining reasonable throughput for flows not sharing this bottleneck link.
