Abstract(in English) | We present and demonstrate an all-fiber Q-switched Tm fiber laser In our Q-switched laser, loss modulation is introduced by means of a periodic microbend m a single-mode fiber, and the flat-coating fiber is fabricated for the Q-switching system in order to improve the laser output characteristics A thulium-doped fiber is pumped by 1 62 μm laser diode When the pump power and the pump duration are 139 mW and 1 ms, respectively, the Q-swithed output pulse exhibited a peak power of 1 45 W with a pulse width of 1 μs |
