Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is necessary to use a buck-boost dc-dc converter with high power efficiency when source and load voltages are close. As this sort of converter, a non-mverting buck-boost converter which can be derived from cascaded canonical buck and boost converters is discussed. In many cases, the non-inverting buck-boost is controlled by controlling the two sub-converters independently, a different viewpoint of control scheme, based on the state of the whole circuit, is presented in this report. The analytical results of the buck-boost operation of the converter, obtained by state-space averaging method, are summarized and confirmed experimentally.
