Abstract(in English) This report addresses a multicell battery consisting of one high-energy density Lithium-ion cell and high-power density Lithium-ion cell. For avoiding the unsafe overcurrent of every cell and realizing a novel multicell battery with both high-energy output and high-power output, a switching control of the configuration of the battery is proposed. The effectiveness of the control is demonstrated experimentally.
