Abstract(in English) For the next generation optical access networks, it is required to accommodate much more subscribers in a single OLT by expanding their link-budgets Considering the ultra-high-splitting TDMA-PON which registers several hundreds or more ONUs, the registration time for the entire ONUs may drastically increase compared with present systems For avoiding such a problem, we have already proposed a dynamic control scheme of Discovery-window according to the number of unregistered ONUs In this paper, we report the feasibility study of our scheme by the numerical simulation and the expenments utilizing commercially-available equipments
