Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Many trials in the field of education have been reported on the practical uses of tablet devices with touch panels. I previously proposed a new letter input system of handwriting which enables automated marking of examination papers such as "Kanji Kentei." This paper focuses on a matching method between a handwritten letter and a correct letter which are expressed as quadratic Bezier curves. I propose a new coordinate system called "order coordinate system" and use the distances based on it to construct stroke correspondences between the two letters. The experimental system shows the proposed matching method can be applied to complex Chinese characters and deformed handwritten letters.
