| 抄録(和) | 本研究は,視野を共有しないカメラが複数設置された広域環境における人流の計測を目的とする.提案手法は,各カメラの視野外に消失する前景領域と各カメラの視野内に出現する前景領域の間の人物の移動量の推定に基づき,ある時区間におけるカメラ間の人物の移動量を推定する.前景領域が2人以上の人物集合に相当する場合,メラの視野外で人物集合が分裂・結合しながら移動する可能性があること,見た目の類似した人物の存在により,異なるカメラにより撮影される人物の照合を誤る可能性が高くなること,の2つの問題点への対処を目指す.大阪大学吹田キャンパス内の道路を4台の仮想カメラにより撮影した100分間の映像に対する人流の推定値は,実際の移動量との平均誤差が0.184人と非常に小さくなり,提案手法の有効性が確認された. |
| 抄録(英) | Our goal is to develop a method for measuring pedestrian traffic in a wide area monitored by non-over-lapping cameras. The proposed method measures pedestrian traffic across each pair of cameras by estimating the flows across the foreground regions disappearing from one camera view and appearing in the other camera view within a short time interval. The approach aims at resolving two problems: people in a foreground region can split and merge outside the camera view, and persons with similar appearance can lead to errors in person identification. The average errors of 0.184 persons in measuring the pedestrian traffic in an area in Osaka University Suita Campus monitored by four virtual cameras for 100 minutes have demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed method. |
