Abstract(in English) | Electronic Computers are not good at Pattern Recognition. Because, (1) they use Binary Digital Signals, Logical 0 and Logical 1, based on existence or nonexistence of Voltage Bits, which are not redundant. In order to detect and correct errors, Parity Bit and Error Correction Code must be added and checked separately after reception. And because, (2) as their operation is based on Repulsive Power of Voltage Bit, the result must be readout from shift-registers. On the other hand, Transcription from DNA into mRNA and Translation from mRNA into tRNA/Amino-Acid (1) are operated by chemical bonding interactions which avoid errors, and (2) have redundancy as 64 Codons are translated into less numerous 20 Amino-Acid. Thus no Error Detection / Correction Mechanism and no Readout Mechanism are required. "The immune system maintains a repertoire exceeding ten million different proteins, namely antibody molecules. This is a thousand-fold more than all other body proteins taken together."[l] It has a mechanism of transmitting Logical Operational Result such as Combination is full-fit or not-full. Immune System "bears a striking resemblance to the nervous system." They "respond adequately to an enormous variety of signals." Both systems display dichotomies (Pattern Recognition) and dualisms. The cells of both systems can receive and transmit signals. "In both systems the signals can be either excitatory or inhibitory." Lymphocytes are 100 times more numerous than nerve cells. "They do not need connections by fibres in order to form a network. As lymphocytes can move about freely, they can interact either by direct encounters or through the antibody molecules they release."[2] |
