Abstract(in English) This paper describes an image-set based hand shape recogntion method using the Kernel Orthogonal Mutual Subspace Method (KOMSM).The uniqueness of our method is to realize 3D hand shape recognition by measuring the structural similarity between two sets of 2D multi-view images of hands. The effectiveness of this approach will be demonstrated through the evaluate experiments using multiple view images of thrity kinds of hand shapes.
