Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A noncontact tactile display on which a small-sized depth camera is attached is reported. Tactile stimulation is provided by focusing ultrasound in the range from 15cm to 35cm. The distance between the display and skin surface is needed to focus ultrasound adequately. A depth camera DepthSense325 is employed for that purpose, which is small and is able to measure the distance from 1 5 cm. It can be mounted on the tactile display to be an all-in-one device.
