Relaxed Relation and Cohesive Relation : Design of Online Community for Promotion of Pro-Environmental Behavior Focusing on Communication Stress

Abstract(in English) Nowadays, many daily household behaviors of people are connected to causing environmental load, promotion of PEBs (Pro-Environmental Behaviors) is therefore important issue to solve energy problems. Online community is recently regarded as an effective way for promoting PEBs. Nevertheless, participants sometimes drop out from such online communities and difficult to keep doing PEBs. In this study, "communication stress" is hypothetically focused as a dominating factor for promotion and inhabitation of dropout. Purpose of this study is development of a method for continuing participation of online community for promotion of PEBs. Methods for communication stress control are proposed and evaluated through subject experiments in hose.
