Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We describe the dinner seating arrangement system designed for use at a workshop with approximately 180 participants (WISS2012), to facilitate interaction among participants. It seems to be beneficial to provide such systems to social events with a number of participants. since it is often the case to miss interaction opportunities. Focus of this report is on a particular type of participants, which we call "super-passive" participants. who hesitate to use systems designed to facilitate social interaction, and propose principles to design systems which they can use as well. Further, we discuss how we can evaluate and improve interactive systems for the large.
