Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This study aims at developing a video viewing environment for immediate reflection on communication practices. It is desirable to provide participants with an opportunity for looking back (reflection) which facilitates the participants' awareness from the practice and improves their communication skills, as immediately as possible after a communication practice such as workshops, consultation and scientific communication. since the sooner after the practice, the better the participants remember behaviors or thoughts of themselves and of the other participants during the practice. This article proposes a method for constructing a video viewing environment which enables to browse video recordings effectively by using high-definition video and observation notes inputted by more than one observers with IRC chatting system. This article also introduces several cases in which we apply the method to immediate reflection on communication practices such as workshops and science cafes.
