Abstract(in English) Analyzing sit-to-stand movement is important to understand how the balance function of a rehabilitation patient is recovered. For analyzing sit-to-stand movement, we propose a system to visualize center of gravity (COG) and base of support (BOS) information while a patient standing from a seated position. Our system consists of (1) load sensors to obtain COG of both standing and seating position and (2) sheet and pressure sensors to obtain BOS of both buttock on the chair and feet on the feet boards. A prototype system has been tested by occupational and physical therapists. We give the results of our questionnaire rating our system.
