Implementation and Evaluation of Tour Information Retrieval System based on Destination Image

Abstract(in English) Recently, many people use Internet to search travel information. Accordingly, the retrieval systems for travel information have appeared. However, since these systems can't reflect the ideal image of travel to a result, they can't immediately provide suitable travel information to the searcher. So, in this study, we implemented the associative retrieval system that can reflect searcher's wishes of tours through the picture. In order to implement the system, we have to put tags that represent impression of tour. to the picture. Therefore, we performed focus group interview to extract suitable words for tags, and constructed semi-automatic tagging system to reduce the costs of tagging. After implementation of the system, we evaluated the effectiveness of this system by the comparison of this system with traditional system.
