Abstract(in English) | In order to estimate user's concentration while studying and working, there is a method utilizing the change of bio information based on the state of the automatic nervous system. The examples of the utilized bio information axe brain waves, pulse waves and skin temperature. In previous works when they utilized skin temperature, they often used thermography to measure the change of nose's temperature. However, when we use thermography to measure skin temperature, the user's position is limited because measured region has to be captured by the camera. Moreover, the device is large scale. In order to estimate user's concentration by measuring skin temperature, our research group attempt to utilize contact type temperature sensors which are smaller and cheaper than thermography. In this paper we measured the change of skin temperature while calculating for basic study of a method to estimate user's concentration by measuring skin temperature. We describe the experiment to compare the difference of the change of skin temperature on a fingertip, wrist and neck. We also describe the experiment to investigate the relationship between concentration and change of fingertip temperature. The results of experiments show the change of fingertip temperature is available to estimate user's concentration. |
