Abstract(in English) In recent years, an e-book reader like iPad is coming up. An e-book reader has various sensors. Some e-book readers can get a line of user sight by using the sensors, and will be able to provide a new service which is convenient for users in the future. And an ←book reader can provide a digital picture book. However, it is difficult for the parent to watch a child's face. So, they cannot exactly find out whether children have an interest to the picture book or not. To solve the above problem, this paper proposes a picture book reading support system with real-time feedback of line of user sight. The authors developed a prototype e-book having two touch panel displays and an eye tracker. The proposed system displays a line of child's sight in real-time on the display panel for parents. Finally, the authors conducted an experiment of storytelling picture book to children by using the prototyped e-book in order to prove the validity of proposed method.
