Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The infuluence of Microblogs like Facebook and Twitter is becoming bigger and bigger along with the rapid popularization of mobile devices like smartphone. Especially, Twitter gives big impacts on the society because it enables us to get realtime information easily. Actually, Twitter has made a big role as a useful communication tool in a situation that we can't use mobile phone like the Great East Japan Earthquake which happened on March 11, 2011. However, it's usefulness, unfortunately, sometimes causes a great number of misinformation and false rumors to spread on the Internet. For example, in the Great East Japan Earthquake, a number of false rumors and misinformation were spreaded and made Japanese people confused. So, we asked two annotators to go over the rumor tweets in the tweet data and mark each tweet with a "FALSE " if it is about any of the false rumors, and witha "TRUE " otherwise. And we constructed a rumor tweet database in the Great East Japan Earthquake in which we can identify if each of the tweets involves a false news or not.
