Abstract(in English) In a distributed real-time system, highly-dependable communication using error correcting codes and line codes is an indispensable function. Since a trade-off exists between code intensity and code rate, it is necessary to choose suitable error correcting codes and line codes under a given characteristic of communication link and streams of data. Responsive Link, which is the real-time communications standard for distributed control that has three kinds of line codes and error correcting codes in order to meet the demand. In this paper, we propose a method that dynamically change line codes or error correcting codes between nodes, and realized a software-based dynamic reconfiguration of channel coding on Resp onsi veLink. And we evaluated the proposed method in terms of packet error rate and throughput performance comparing with the case without the proposed method. Experimental results show that packet error rate and throughput performance improved.
