Abstract(in English) In recent years, image-analysis technology is greatly developed with the spread of digital contents. The morphological pattern spectrum is effective technique for texture analysis and object distinction. The conventional processor has the problem that realization of high processing performance is difficult in pattern spectrum operation, since it needs memory access frequently in the case of the arithmetic processing between pixel images and area calculation. In this research, in order to speeding up morphological pattern spectrum operation, the MX-1 that memory area and the processing elements are united closely is used. Prom comparison the implementation result of the MX-1 with that of an ultra-compact single-board computer, the MX-1 can reduce processing time about hundredth.
