Abstract(in English) | This paper introduces new QoE (Quality of experience)measuring methods for bi-directional video communication in real-time manner. The subjective assessment of video is usually carried out simply off-line. To improve this assessment, we introduce four more precise measuring methods into QoE evaluation of bi-directional video communication. (l)We develop a new real-time measuring system for subjective assessment. (2)We measure the precise elapsed time to recognize the occurrence of packet loss. (3)We measure the QoE under specific situation of communication with transmission delay. (4)To improve the reliability of subjective assessment, we measure the ERP brain wave, P300. Precise measurement of user QoE is said the main key point to develop NGN. These four measuring methods ofQoE may open up doors to develop new architecture of NGN. |
