Abstract(in English) | Au and Ag nanoparticles show optical absorption and scattering based on localized surface plasmon resonance. Extinction spectrum depends on the size, shape and dielectric environment. We report the extinction spectra of Ag prism nanoplates (50-500nm)adsorbed on a glass or quartz plate of slab optical waveguide and discuss the interaction with evanescent wave at the surface. |
