Abstract(in English) | In situ observation of direct electron transfer (DET) reaction of cytochrome c immobilized on ITO electrode was performed by slab optical waveguide spectroscopy. The comparison of the adsorbed amount of cytochrome c estimated from the SOWG absorbance at Soret band peak position and redox peak area in cyclic voltammogram was performed. After several times of washing treatment of the cytochrome c adsorbed on ITO electrode, only Soret band was observed though CV redox peaks disappeared. It is suggested that cytochrome c redox potential shift to the cathodic direction due to adsorption on ITO electrode is the cause of this phenomena. |
