Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The electric holographic displays can show real three-dimensional object images. Key characteristic of this display is viewing angle. spatial light modulators (SLMs)that use to display hologram provide the next viewing angle (φ for diffracted rays: φ=sin^<-1>(λ/2ρ), whereλis a wavelength and ρ is a pixel pitch. The SLM with 1-μm-wide pixels can display holographic images over the viewing angles of more than 30 degrees without glasses. We studied light-addressed magneto-optic three-dimensional display (MO-3D Display)with submicron-scale magnetic pixels. This device uses a magneto-optical thin film. In this report. we show wide-viewing-angle computer generated hologram image on light-addressed MO-3D Display with tiling method.
