Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Holographic data storage (HDS)is one of next-generation archival storage technologies, which have potential of high recording density over Tbit/in^2. The purpose of this study was to develop an read/write technique of volume holograms based on the 3-dimensional shift multiplexing using both transmission type and reflection type recording. We study the recording characteristics with spherical reference wave by the proposed technique. In this paper, the result of verifying the potential of these methods was reported by the record reproduction experiment.
