Methods for visualization of information from large scale carrier network

Abstract(in English) With the increase of services, the network is consisted by various elements, such as router, switch, and a wide variety of server. The structure of network becomes to be more complicated. so diagnosis of failure and affected area with a lot of alarms tends to be more difficult. The time for detecting the causal point of failure also becomes longer. However, to improve the quality services, reducing down time is essential factor. Alarm browser and graph are used to displaying the collected data from network. Operator managements network with envisioning network structure in their mind. However, the larger the network becomes, the more difficult operators recognize the network structure only by their mind. So topology view with geographical information and kind of equipment is used. But visibility of this view becomes worse if the scare of network is even larger and more complex. In this paper. we propose the visualizing method of network information by space axis and time axis. This method can easily make network operators remind of causal point and failure area.
