Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, a lot of video streaming services have been popular. However, an infringement of copyright for digital contents has become a serious problem. Digital watermarking is one of an effective technology for this problem. Especially for video watermarking, tolerance for frame order manipulation attack is important. In this paper, we apply the patchwork watermarking method to video data. The proposed method can decode the embedded information from each frame independently by initializing a pseudo-random number using a histogram to cope with the frame order manipulation. The improved novel method enables to embed messages about a few byte per frame by embedding the message as a seed value. The quality of embedded image is about 41dB. The proposed method is considered to be one of the useful techniques for video copyright protection.
