| 抄録(和) | データセンタの大規模化に伴い,運用管理現場では大量の構成情報を管理する必要があり,システム運用管理ソフトウェアの構成管理用リポジトリが大規模化している.一般的に,大規模環境を対象に運用管理を実施する場合でも,管理対象に比べて運用管理用の計算機リソースは増加しない.そのため,大量の構成情報を管理する際には,管理ソフトウェアからリポジトリに対して大量のアクセスが発生する.このため,システム運用管理ソフトウェアとリポジトリとの通信処理がボトルネックとなり,データ保持処理の速度が低下する場合がある.本研究ではこの課題に対する解決策として,構成管理リポジトリのアクセスパスを,トランザクション処理用と参照およびオートコミット処理用に分類してプール化し,各プールで利用可能なアクセスパス数を事前に設定した比率に基づいて制限する方式を提案した.これにより,データ保持処理のうち時間を要する処理によるアクセスパスの占有を避けることが可能となる.さらに実際のシステム運用環境の測定結果から,大規模環境でのデータ保持処理の効率を向上させるために設定すべき比率を考察した. |
| 抄録(英) | When IT system managers manage their management targets, they need to manage a large number of configuration information with the large-scale data center and the repository for IT system management software has gotten larger. Generally, the computing resources for IT management system cannot be increased as much as management targets even in case of managing the large-scale environment. As a result, when IT system managers manage the large-scale environment, the large number of accesses occurs from IT system management software to its repository. That is why, the communication process between IT system management software and the repository becomes bottleneck and sometimes the speed of data storing process gets slow down. This paper proposes a method to solve this issue. The method is that classifying and pooling the access path of configuration management repository for transaction process and for referring or auto commit process, then setting the number of available access path in each pool based on the predefined ratio. It is possible to avoid the occupation of the access path by the process for a long time in data storing process. What is more, we studied the ratio to improve the efficiency of data storing process using the measurement result in the real IT system management environment. |
