Retransmission Control Scheme for Smart Meter Wireless Multi-hop Network

Abstract(in English) To achieve a smart grid, supply and demand situation of electrical power in each consumer should be transferred to a provider using a smart meter that is a power register with communication interfaces. In a previous study, we proposed the data transfer method by concatenating multiple packets in multi-hop wireless networks for smart meters in order to achieve effective and reliable data transmission. However, previous work dose not have retransmission mechanism when a pakect loss occurred. Therefore, we propose the retransmission control scheme to improve the efficiency and high reliability of data transfer for smart meter wireless multi-hop networks. We evaluate the effectiveness of our proposed method by simulations.
