Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A number of patients of sleep Apnea Syndrome (SAS) have been increasing in recent years. This syndrome happens during sleeping, so it is difficult for us to notice it by ourselves. There are mainly two ways to diagnose as SAS, One is an examination in hospital and a simple one by pulse ox meter. But, these methods have two disadvantages. One not to be able to sleep in natural position and a lot of money is required. To detect this syndrome more earlier, we aim to construct a low cost simple diagnosis system with smart phones and acoustic engineering technology. In this study, we report the research of sound environment during sleeping and a specification for hardware's.
