Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This report deals with the chaotic synchronization in time-delayed coupled Bernoulli maps. A systematic procedure for designing the coupling strength and the map parameter under which the number of maps, the detailed topology information, and the delay time in connections are unknown. We show that the stability of the synchronized state is equivalent to that of the time-invariant linear systems with uncertain parameters. Since the dimension of the linear systems depends on the unknown time delay, it is difficult to derive the necessary and sufR- cient condition for the linear systems to be stable. This report reveals that a simple sufficient condition simplifies the design problem.
