A Nonlinear Blind Source Separation using a Ring Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm

Abstract(in English) Blind source separation (BSS)is a technique for recovering an original source signal from mixing sig- nals without the aid of information of the source signals. Almost of the BSS are realized by using an independent component analysis (ICA)method. The !CA is a. technique of separating a multivariate signal supposing that the mutual statistical independence of the non-Gaussian source signals. In general, the BSS supposes that the mixture signal is composed with a linear combination of unknown independent signals. However, we can consider the non- linear mixture signal case. Such problems are called as nonlinear BSS. In general, the separation of the nonlinear mixture signals is quite difficult. learning of a nonlinear separation process is required for nonlinear BSS. We apply particle swarm optimization (PSO)algorithm to learning algorithm. In this paper, the full connecting structure PSO method and the ring connecting structure PSO method are used for learning algorithm. The performance is checked by a simulation.
