Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This report proposes an image restoration technique with directional non-separable oversampled lapped transform (NSOLT)that the authors suggested as a previous work. NSOLT is a non-separable transform, able to possess a directional property, and capable to have rational redundancy less than two. In this report, the proposed transform is applied to deblurring, super-resolution and inpainting, and the performance is evaluated. The image restoration performance is compared with that of the redundant Haar transform as another redundant system. From simulation results, it is verified that the proposed method not only yields visually preferable results, but also shows high performance in terms of objective criteria, PSNR and SSIM.
