Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This report presents a method for visualizing scale-free networks. Scale-free networks are said to be difficult to analyze and visualize, because distribution of the vertex degrees follow the power-law nature. Sasaki et al proposed scale-free network visualization technique that creates the hierarchical representation, referring to their vertex degrees. By using the AS relations data, we improve the method of Sasaki et al, and visualize the scale-free networks more clearly. We also applied the proposed method to overlay traffic data of BitTorrent in order to demonstrate the effective visualization of communication paths between a pair of peers over the scale-free network.
