Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In wireless multihop networks, conventional trust based routing protocols are vulnerable to Spoofing ACK Attack. Malicious nodes of Spoofing ACK Attack drop the packets which they receives by transferring them to an imaginary node. They also prevent their neighbor nodes from regarding them as untrustworthy nodes by spoofing the ack which the destination node sends normally. In this paper we propose an effective method to deal with the attack. The source nodes send warning packets to all intermediate nodes when they receive a spoofed ack and detect it. The nodes which have received the warning packet decrease trustworthiness of each next hop nodes so that intermediate nodes can avoid attacker nodes. We evaluate our proposed methods by simulation. As a result, we can show that a success rate on packet transfer of the proposed method is higher than those on the conventional method, and that the proposed method is effective in defensing spoofing ACK Attack.
