Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) P2P live streaming distribution systems, which have high scalability, configure one P2P overlay network to distribute one video. Users join another distribution network anew when they want to switch to another video. Thus, it takes long delay during video switch. 0n the other hand, with diversification of distribution services, multi-view video distribution service will become popular in the future. However, in multi-view video distribution service with conventional distribution systems, switching view video also takes long time. In this paper, we design and propose P2P live streaming system for multi-view video with fast switching. We introduce a dedicated server, which is called "Zapping Server" to help users switch view video. In oreder to decrease switching time, this server undertakes the procedure of switching to another distribution network which affects switching time. In this paper, the performance of the proposed system is evaluated through computer simulation.
