Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose the hazard detection system and carry out the performance evaluation. To conduct the hazard detection for day/night and at a cheap price, the system carries out the hazard detection by using Kinect sensor for game. The system detects the static and dynamic hazard objects using RGB camera during the day and using the depth sensor during the night. We perform the evaluation of the system against the static and dynamic hazard objects in day/night. These results show the feasibility of the hazard detection system in the handle type electric wheelchair.
