Abstract(in English) In food industry food safety and confidence In food are sometimes discussed connectedly. However, safety and confidence are different ideas and the approaches toward them are also different. Various methods such as establishing management system, introduction of product testing etc. are being employed for the purpose. The subject is discussed among participants from quality assurance section of food producers in the Food Communication Project presided by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. The participants emphasize beneficialness of usual public relations about themselves and their products, especially the importance of careful communication such as factory visit and science caft as well as the idea of product certificate to secure safety of food which they supply.
