Abstract(in English) | IEEE802.11 Wireless LAN (WLAN) using CSMA/CA (Carrier Sense Multiple Access with Collision Avoidance) has been growing rapidly and various devices such as PCs, smart phones, and printers are widely equipped with WLAN for networking. In near future, WLAN networks will be more densely deployed, and further enhancement of spatial frequency utilization efficiency will be required. To improve the spatial frequency utilization efficiency, some techniques to control the parameters such as carrier sense threshold and transmitting power according to the spatial spectrum usage have been proposed. This paper proposes a RSSI based carrier sense threshold control scheme for densely deployed wireless LAN networks and evaluates the system throughput by computer simulation. |
