Abstract(in English) In Multiuser Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MU-MIMO) systems, the concept of user grouping where users are grouped into different timeslot and served by Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) can provide fairness among users while the capacity of the system can be improved by minimizing the spatial correlation between users' channels in the group. In this paper, we consider the MU-MIMO system where Block Diagonalization (BD) technique is used to design the transmit precoding matrix. A user grouping algorithm is composed of an efficient User Priority (UP) metric which includes the information of Channel State Information (CSI), Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) of users and Proportional Fairness (PF) is proposed. An appropriate Spatial Compatibility Check (SCC) metric for MU-MIMO grouping is also proposed. We also modified the Best-Fit (BF) grouping strategy to reduce the complexity. The concept of Look Up Table (LUT) is also applied in order to determine the optimal number of users per group to increase the capacity of the system. Simulation results show the performance of the proposed algorithm which ensures the fairness among users while high capacity can be achieved.
