Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The reduction of preamble symbols is greatly beneficial to realize low latency wireless networks for Factory Automation(FA), where data communication between hundreds of nodes must be finished within 1ms. A compensation method of progressive phase rotation(PPR) has been proposed for the demodulation of preambleless OFDM. In this paper, the performance of the preambleless demodulation method operating in multipath fading channels corresponding to that of a factory environment is considered. Computer simulation results show that the preambleless demodulation method archieves the packet error rate(PER) equivalent to that of conventional 802.11a demodulators using preamble symbols, even in multipath fading channels.
