Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In wireless ad-hoc networks, avoidance or reduction of contentions and collisions effect on the performance of wireless multihop transmissions.TDMA based contention- and collision-free data message transmissions achieve higher performance than the conventional contention-based wireless LAN protocol based data message transmissions especially in environments with highly frequent multihop transmission requests. This paper proposes a TDMA slot assignment protocol based on necessary and sufficient conditions for contention- and collision-free slot assignments for achieving highly available wireless ad-hoc networks. In addition, for more wireless multihop transmissions to be used simultaneously, a novel slot selection method assigning higher priority to slots assigned locally is proposed and an extended slot assignment protocol is designed.
