Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents the feasibility and the performances of the wireless network coding (WNC) prototype in outdoor environment. The prototype works based on time division multiple access (TDMA) utilizing global positioning system (GPS) to facilitate the synchronization of wireless nodes. In order to further improve the frame utilization efficiency, frame aggregation (FA) is implemented to relay node. We evaluate the system throughput performances of the system where WNC and FA are jointly applied in the traffic environment based on Ethernet including some data lengths. Our experimental results show that WNC and FA can improve system throughput by approximately 1.5-fold compared to a system without them.
