Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A decline in olfaction is reported to be an early symptom of diseases such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. Thus, from a medical point of view, understanding the condition of the olfactory system is important. However, olfaction is not examined at a regular health checkup. Because measurements require a great deal of care. In this study, we use the olfactory display which can control precisely so that we solve the problem of care for measurement. Moreover, we construct application for the olfactory measurement to control the device. It is possible to measure in short amount of time and record measurement result automatically by using this application.
