Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Internet connected TV allows users to choose the entertainment content from the huge list of videos or channels. However, it is difficult for passive viewers to find the content they like. In this paper, we aim to develop a system for providing recommended contents depending on the viewer's situation. In order to achieve this, we propose to detect the user's non-concentrated states during TV watching with the SVM classifier based on the detection frequency of "face toward to TV", "movement of the user in front of the TV" and "sound emitted by the user behavior". The experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
