Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This research aims to improve the speed for detecting flaws of liquid glass with a FPGA board. First we reduce the noises in pictures of liquid glass by using TDI(Time Delay Integration). Then we use laplacian filter to detect edges and do binarization of edges. Finally we use labeling to detect flaws of liquid glass. We implemented laplacian filter, binarization and labeling on a FPGA board. The results show that the speed with FPGA is 20 times faster than that with CPU software.
