Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We make a research project on a high-availability network, which provides multihoming networks with multiple communication paths, simplified and automated management, and heterogeneous communications, against network failures. For this, we designed and implemented Heterogeneity Inclusion and Mobility Adaptation through Locator ID Separation(HI- MALIS) architecture. We also designed and implemented Hierarchical/Automatic Number Allocation for locators(HANA), which simultaneously provides reduction of network management costs, improvement of network fault tolerance, and reduction of the Intenet core routing table size. This paper introduces that in addition to HIMALIS/HANA designs, a wide area HANA network over a Japan testbed network JGN-X, a mini data center based on HANA, and a HIMALIS network.
